Dive Trips
Whatever kind of diving you like, come share with us. We'll have an online calendar of scheduled trips soon.
In the meantime, don't hesitate to email
Genny Donaldson for the latest information on upcoming trips.
Bay Area Gulf Diving
Gulf diving is usually done by anchor diving from the boats.
In our area most of the depths range from 30 ft to 80 ft. We have over 30 artificial reef systems consisting
of shipwrecks, army tanks, culverts and bridge rubble that has transformed into beautiful structures of reef.
There are many natural ledges that are the ancient shorelines and river beds of this area dating thousands of years ago.
Our area is very rich with many species of fish, sponges, soft corals, and salt water creatures. We always see something new with every dive.
This area is a great place for spearfishing as well. Some of the dive charter boats offer spearfishing and some do not allow.
Please let us know if interested.
Often we do beach diving to the Regina and reefs off the shores of Bradenton Beach and sharks tooth hunting off the shores of Venice Beach.
FLORIDA KEYS DIVING
There is something for everyone in the Keys. Some trips we spent diving the shallow preserves in the upper Keys.
These dives are great for underwater photography and for snorkeling when the non divers want to enjoy the dive sites of their diver friends and
family members. Other trips to the Keys are spent diving some of the spectacular deeper wrecks like the USS Spiegel Grove,
USCGC Duane and the Bibb, the Eagle, the Thunderbolt, and now the new USS Vandenberg.
EAST COAST DRIFT DIVING
Diving the beautiful warm tropical waters found close to shore from Miami to Jupiter drift diving from 20 ft to 100 ft reefs.
Miami has some beautiful reefs, wrecks, and the Neptune Memorial Reef. We often dive the USS Copenhagen in Pompano Beach and the Aqua Zoo/Sea Emperor
where friendly moray eels and sting rays frolic with the divers. West Palm has some of the best reefs in Florida like Breakers Reef, Flower Gardens,
Paul's Reef and some great wrecks like the Corridor and the Governor's River Walk. In the winter, we go to the West Palm/Jupiter area where the lemon
sharks gather for 3 months for their breeding season.
We're always looking for the best photo opportunity and videos. Lobster season is from August 5th thru March 31 and we've seen plenty along the whole east coast.
FLORIDA SPRING DIVING
When the Gulf is too cold, and the weather too rough on the east coast, we have a lot of fun diving.
Weeki Wachee is a fun dive for some, where the mermaids play. You can dive Crystal River where the manatees call home,
Homosassa Springs where we snorkel with the manatees, Paradise Springs, a beautiful spring full of fossils throughout
the walls that does go to 100ft for experiencing some deeper dives in a controlled environment. Devil's Den diving in the
spring that is located in a cavern, and Blue Grotto, which is also a cavern dive that reaches 100ft. Rainbow River drift dive is
considered one of the most beautiful rivers in the US. Shallow water drift diving with lots of species of turtles, bass, Florida gar,
and many other species of freshwater fish. There are lots of springs in Florida to dive. The water temperature is always 72 degrees all year round.
